I speak of you often. I know I only studied with you for about a year but I learned a ton! You helped me prepare for my college audition for NIU (Northern Illinois University) where I majored in music education graduating in 2010. I am currently in my 11th year teaching.

During our lessons you were analytical and kind in your approach in pushing me to go further while also honoring my "whims" to work on both natural horn and multiphonics.

I am currently primarily playing Eb Tenor Horn and sit Solo Horn chair in the Dublin Silver Brass Band of Dublin, Ohio (suburb of Columbus). With this band I have won best horn twice at the Dublin Festival of Brass, and as a part of our band have won titles at the Ohio Brass Arts Festival, The U.S. Open Brass Band Championships (when they were in Chicago) and placing first in both 2nd and 1st sections at NABBA (North American Brass Band Association) In Ft. Wayne, IN. As a result of some of these wins our band won seats in both Brass in Concert and Butlins Mineworkers Championships Brass band contests in the UK.
